This is a long term aged raw golden sour. By blending from ex wine barrels and foeders, the Eik & Tid team then layer stone fruit, vanilla and umami in an explosion of flavours. The level of complexity in this beer makes it one of their favourites both to make and to drink!
We make beer with a sense of place. When you have an Eik & Tid beer you can be sure that this is a proper Norwegian beer with one foot in Nordic traditional brewing and the other in modern sour beer making.
The flavours of our beers are usually tart and fruity and with very little to no bitterness. Complex, but delicate yet intriguing.
